79th anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month

This October marks the 79th anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)! Each October, the CPUC celebrates NDEAM as part of our commitment to an inclusive workplace and to recognize the value and talent that individuals with disabilities bring to the CPUC’s mission and programs.

NDEAM’s 2024 theme is “Access to Good Jobs for All”. Good jobs change lives, and all people—which includes disabled employees—deserve the opportunity to prepare for, obtain, and succeed in them.

During National Disability Employment Awareness Month “NDEAM,” we celebrate the value and talent workers with disabilities add to the CPUC, America’s workplaces, and to the economy. The CPUC joins NDEAM’s purpose and commitment to ensuring disabled workers have access to good jobs, every month of every year.
